(25.07.22) It was a broad range of topics under the headline "Future Insights" that the more than 800 visitors on site, as well as numerous online participants, were able to discuss in Darmstadt from July 12 to 14, 2022: Health, Nutrition, Synthetic Biology, Materials, Energy, Digitalization, Mobility, the Human Brain, and New Ways of Collaboration.

Right in the middle of it all was the "Research in Germany" initiative, which, under the auspices of the DFG and with the participation of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, drew the attention of interested scientists from all disciplines to the numerous opportunities Germany has to offer for researchers, both at the information booth on site and online.

"You are so lucky to live and work in such a reliable and supportive country," an international scientist expressed, impressed by the working conditions for researchers in Germany.

Inspired by the talks given by Biontech founder Özlem Türeci, DFG President Katja Becker, and Nobel Prize winners Stefan Hell and Robert Huber, who conduct their research in Germany, conference attendees then took the opportunity to get advice on their own future paths in Germany.
