Thematically related individual projects that are conducted independently of one another may be submitted together as a package proposal. The individual projects are reviewed separately but, due to their topical proximity, may reference one other.

Investigators seeking to pursue a common research objective in a closely coordinated, collaborative research environment should instead apply for funding within a DFG Research Unit.
