広島大学・ドイツ研究振興協会(DFG)日本代表部共催 公開サテライトシンポジウム
大学、研究における人文・社会科学系のあり方が高い関心事項となっている今、研究環境の継続と更なる展開に向け「分野」の未来について、主に日本とドイツからの研究者が意見を交わす機会として11月に東京で開催される、国際シンポジウム「The Impact of the Humanities and Social Sciences. Discussing Germany and Japan」のサテライトシンポジウムが15日、広島大学で開催されます。
このシンポジウムではドイツ研究振興協会 (DFG) 会長、シュトローシュナイダー教授による基調講演「Truth – Impact – Power」の講演会、そしてパネルディスカッションではDFG副会長グリーム教授を座長に、パネリストとして広島大学から理事・副学長（研究担当） 山本 陽介先生、文学研究科教授 衞藤 吉則先生、教育学研究科教授 草原 和博先生を迎え、これからの人文・社会科学研究の在り方について皆様と考えていきます。

A satellite symposium of the event, "The Impact of the Humanities and Social Sciences. Discussing Germany and Japan" (in Tokyo from November 13th to 15th) will be held on 15th November in Hiroshima. In this symposium, there will be a keynote lecture "Truth - Impact - Power" by Prof. Dr. Peter Strohschneider, the President of German Research Foundation (DFG), followed by a panel discussion chaired by Prof. Dr. Julika Griem, the Vice President of DFG to discuss the future of research in HSS with professors from Hiroshima University, Prof. Yohsuke Yamamoto, Academic Office, Executive and Vice President, Prof. Yoshinori Eto, Graduate School of Letters and Prof. Kazuhiro Kusahara, Graduate School of Education.
