"Research in Germany" at the March Meeting of the American Physical Society (APS) 2023

(23.02.23) From March 5 to 10, more than 10.000 international physicists, PhD candidates and students will get together in Las Vegas for the annual March Meeting of the American Physical Society. Under the umbrella of the initiative "Research in Germany" funding organisations, research institutions, research networks and graduate schools provide detailed information on the German physics research landscape and about career and funding opportunities for scientists of all career stages.

In this session participants will hear first-hand stories about the experiences of distinguished PhD candidates and researchers who will exemplify possible career paths in the field of physics in Germany. Participants will also get the opportunity to ask their personal questions and to get in touch with representatives of German funding and research institutions to gain insights into how to realise their own plans for a PhD programme, a research stay or an entire research career in Germany. Refreshments will be served!
