International
The DFG actively advocates greater equity and diversity in research – both nationally and internationally. By participating in international working groups, networks and conferences, it aims to foster the exchange of good practices. These activities also enable the DFG to keep up to date with current developments in the fields of gender equality and diversity in science worldwide, gaining fresh perspectives in the process. Here again, the goal is to create a diverse and inclusive research landscape in which all researchers enjoy equal opportunities – regardless of gender, social background or other diversity characteristics.
