Recognising Outstanding Research Achievements

The DFG awards a variety of scientific prizes. These include the most important research funding award in Germany, the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize. Awards such as the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize are specifically designed to encourage early career researchers and support them in their career development.
