(28.02.22) From March 14 to 18, researchers from around the globe will get together in Chicago and online for the first hybrid March Meeting of the American Physical Society (APS). “Research in Germany” will be there to present the physics research landscape in Germany though various online and offline formats.
(29.03.22) From April 8 to April 13, the initiative “Research in Germany” will take part in various events at the Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). The joint booth “Cancer Research in Germany” will present the German research landscape in the field of cancer research on-site in New Orleans, USA and virtually so that international participants can gain profound knowledge about cancer research in Germany and about funding and research programmes in Germany.
(29.03.22) For the first time in two years, the March Meeting of the American Physical Society was held on site in Chicago, USA. There was also a virtual event section for all those unable to travel. Research in Germany was represented both virtually and live on site.
(25.04.22) Under the auspices of the DFG, the “Research in Germany” initiative took part in the annual meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) from 8 to 13 April 2022 in various face-to-face and online formats. At a joint stand entitled “Cancer Research in Germany” set up at the exhibitor hall in New Orleans, USA, international participants were able to obtain comprehensive advice on funding and research opportunities in the field of cancer research from the “Research in Germany” initiative, the German Cancer Research Center, the Cluster of Excellence “Image-Guided and Functionally Instructed Tumour Therapies” (iFIT) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Toxicology and Experimental Medicine (ITEM).
(26.04.22) This year, the Research in Germany initiative had its first appearance at the hybrid African Studies Association of Africa conference (ASAA), where it showcased the German research landscape in the field of African studies.
(23.06.22) From July 9 to 13, neuroscientists from all over the world will finally come together again at the FENS Forum 2022. International participants will have the chance to learn more about the German research landscape in the field of neuroscience and on funding opportunities for researchers of all career levels at an information booth and during a special event.
(28.06.22) From July 12 – 14, 2022, the „Research in Germany” initiative will participate in the Curious 2022 – Future Insight Conference. The hybrid conference, held in Darmstadt, Germany, and online, focuses on the discussion of the future of science and technology and finding visionary solutions for today’s most pressing challenges.
(25.07.22) From August 29 to September 1, the „Research in Germany“-initiative will participate in the EuChemS Chemistry Congress 2022. The chemistry congress will be held on-site in Lisbon, Portugal.
(25.07.22) The "Research in Germany" initiative participated in the Curious 2022 - Future Insights Conference for the first time. On site in Darmstadt and at a virtual information booth, visitors were able to get advice on research and funding opportunities in Germany.
(26.07.22) From August 29 to September 2 2022, international researchers will get together in Locarno, Switzerland for the 11th European Conference on Radar in Meteorology and Hydrology. Onsite as well as online, “Research in Germany” will provide detailed information on the German radar research landscape and about career and funding opportunities for scientists of all career stages.
(29.07.22) The FENS Forum 2022, Europe’s biggest international neuroscience conference, was held in Paris from 9 to 13 July 2022. Under the auspices of the DFG, the “Research in Germany” initiative was represented on site with a well-frequented information stand and a networking event for early-career investigators.
(29.08.22) From September 27-29 this year’s congress on Materials Science and Engineering will be held as a fully hybrid event in Darmstadt and online. “Research in Germany” will be on site with an information booth and Science Breakfast and online with an event corresponding to the Science Breakfast.
(26.10.22) At this year’s Materials Science and Engineering Congress in Darmstadt at the end of September, the initiative was represented with an information stand and a Science Breakfast. In spite of its early scheduling, this hybrid information event was very well attended.
