(26.07.22) For over 20 years, the European Conference on Radar in Meteorology and Hydrology (ERAD) has been hosted all over Europe. Now, ERAD is coming back to its birthplace Locarno. After the conference had to be postponed back in 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic, this year’s conference will take place as a fully hybrid event. That way, participants on site and those logging in from all over the world will be able to follow the extensive programme of keynotes, lectures, poster and oral presentations equally.

From August 29 to September 2 2022 visitors in Locarno can meet “Research in Germany” at the onsite information booth at the historic PalaCinema all week during exhibition hours. Here they can learn more about research and career opportunities in Germany for researchers of all career stages and meet face to face with representatives of German funding and research institutions. In addition, a virtual booth invites those not travelling to Locarno to get in touch with “Research in Germany” online.
