(07.04.22) The second international matchmaking event with universities of applied sciences takes place on 18 October 2022. Researchers of German universities of applied sciences (UAS) and researchers from Canada and the US come virtually together in order to have an exchange on project ideas and core research areas, to develop joint project ideas and identify potential cooperation partners.

The event will focus on topics such as

• Transformation of the energy sector in the wake of climate change
• Health care and social medicine throughout the life course
• Secure digitalisation of industrial engineering
• Smart cities
• Innovative materials – from synthesis to application.

At the matchmaking event, researchers are given the opportunity to expand their international network. It is not an informative event on funding opportunities. An event informing about DFG funding opportunities in connection with partners from North America precedes the event being scheduled for 1 September 2022 (5.30 pm to 7 pm CEST) at Webex. Participants of the matchmaking event are recommended to attend the informative event as well.
