The members come from the fields of toxicology, epidemiology, occupational medicine, veterinary medicine, biochemistry, molecular biology, analytical chemistry, dermatology, pathology and statistics. They also include individual representatives from the toxicological departments of industrial companies whose specific practical experience makes a valuable contribution to the Commission’s work. Furthermore, guests can be specially invited in connection with specific topics. Interdisciplinary exchange is an essential prerequisite for evaluating substances.
