(09.10.19) In late September, the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) organised the ninth German-Russian Week of the Young Researcher under the umbrella of the German House for Research and Innovation (DWIH Moscow).
(16.07.19) Every year, the DFG office in Moscow places a strong focus on international networking and supporting early career researchers with the event format German-Russian Week of the Young Researcher.
(25.06.19) In June, the DFG Office Russia hosted its annual summer reception in Moscow. In the presence of around 200 guests from Moscow and regions of Russia as well as from Germany, DFG President Peter Strohschneider thanked the Russian and German partners for the fruitful collaboration.
(27.05.19) At the scientific forum "Science and Global Challenges of the 21st Century" at Perm State University, the DFG used the information seminar organised by the German House for Research and Innovation in May as an opportunity to outline the funding activities of the DFG in an international context as well as specific funding instruments for Russian researchers and German-Russian project financing.
(06.05.2019) Researchers from Dresden, Ilmenau, Moscow, Yekaterinburg and Perm discussed specialist aspects and future prospects of German-Russian cooperation in the field of magnetic hybrid materials.
(06.05.19) The DFG office in Moscow participated in the roundtable discussion 'Der fremde Osten?' ('The unknown East?') during the 16th German Week in St. Petersburg, which took place under the umbrella of the German-Russian Year of University Cooperation and Research 2018–2020 along with a host of other events being held this year.
(25.03.19) In mid-March, a conference on “European Avant-gardes Around 1900. Contact – Transfer – Transformation” was held at the Russian State University for the Humanities (RGGU) in Moscow. The conference took place within the framework of the German-Russian Research Training Group IRTG 1956.
